Whatever the job, whatever you’re carrying, Canter Euro delivers smooth, strong, linear acceleration and torque across more of the rev range. This is thanks to a host of innovations built into the hardy new 160PS or 180PS 3.0L 4P10 engines.
Not only have we added significant new thinking to the engine, we’ve removed weight, helping deliver better fuel efficiency. It also contributes to Canter Euro’s overall weight reduction of 350kg, which means bigger payloads.
The new 3.0L 4P10 engine extracts maximum output with utmost efficiency at every stage of power production.
The EGR system works in consort with the VG turbo, increasing power output. It also reduces NOX emissions by promoting more complete combustion. Particulate Matter (PM) emissions are reduced by returning unburned fuel to the cylinder.
This type of turbocharger is ideally suited to the needs of a goods vehicle. It adjusts automatically, creating optimal pressure at any engine speed.
Fuso trucks are known for the efficiency of this system, which manages fuel supply to each cylinder via a single controller. Common Rail ensures that fuel pressure and engine timing are perfectly synchronised for the best possible performance and fuel use.
There’s no more efficient way to burn fuel. A very fine spray ensures that fuel is burnt more completely, enabling better power output and fewer PM emissions.
