The HD Euro series boasts a powerful inline Daimler 6-cylinder, 12 litre engine with the raw power, torque and endurance to really put your business in the fast lane: High payloads, less gear shifting, greater fuel economy, ultimate dependability, extended engine life and compliance with EURO V emission standards. 

The new OM475 engines are available with either the 410ps or 470ps power ratings with 2031 and 2227 Nm of torque.

The INOMAT-II allows driver to select between automatic or manual shifting.  The intelligent automatic control provides smooth and intuitive gear changes, whiles manual shifting is as easy as simply moving the convenient consol-mounted shift knob forward or back. 

The 12 Speed INOMAT-II helps maximise efficiency’s in the drivetrain for comfortable, fuel-efficient performance.  Coupled with the high-torque engine, it can provide a more fuel-efficient engine while maintaining powerful performance.

This engine has excellent power to weight ratio, high torque at low engine speeds and outstanding economy. The  6-cylinder,  compact power pack, OM 457 is ideal for heavy distribution work as well as  long-distance haulage with a maximum gross vehicle mass of 60 ton on some models.
